Project Overview
A verified WTP-X gasification demonstration system operating under the UTAR research collaboration, confirming 100 kW electrical output from 150 kg/h feedstock throughput. This is the base system validated to date — do not extrapolate larger system performance without engineering confirmation.
The Challenge
Before wider deployment, WTP-X gasification performance on tropical biomass feedstocks needed to be confirmed under controlled, monitored operating conditions rather than assumed from vendor datasheets alone.
Our Solution
A WTP-X gasification unit was installed and operated at UTAR under the research collaboration, processing feedstock at up to 150 kg/h (moisture below 20%) to confirm a verified 100 kW electrical output, equivalent to up to 3.6 tonnes/day under continuous operation.
