Solution Platform
AtollCycle
Island Circular Resource Infrastructure
Islands and resorts face waste challenges that conventional treatment can't solve
Multiple Resource Streams, One Facility
AtollCycle is integrated infrastructure — not a single piece of equipment. Four resource streams converge into energy, materials and ecological value.
Waste Challenges
Limited land for waste treatment infrastructure
Expensive, carbon-intensive off-island waste transport
Dependence on imported diesel energy
Open burning of waste
Fragmented, single-purpose waste streams
Environmental sensitivity of marine ecosystems
Outputs
Resource-to-Energy
Combustible waste is converted via WTP-X gasification into electricity for the facility and site.
Organic Resource Recovery
High-speed aerobic fermentation composts kitchen waste — around 2 tonnes/day capacity, ≥85% volume reduction within 24 hours.
Artificial Reef Materials
Mineral and construction debris is processed into artificial reef blocks, supporting marine biodiversity.
Upcycled Products
Metal cans are upcycled into souvenir crafts through the AtollCycle Breath Fund programme.
